Justin Z. H. Thio, a AY23/24 honors thesis student wins receiving the Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) Prize for his thesis. AMP Prize is given to an honors year NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences undergraduate student who submitted the best academic exercise on any aspect that is of relevance to the Malay/Muslim community in Singapore. His thesis “Beyond the Veil of Faith: Revealing the Complexities of Religious Identity and Religiosity in Shaping First Impressions” explores how people perceive others with different religious identities based on their own religious practices.
